Aspergers from the Inside (link)

April 15, 2015 by jesslm Leave a Comment

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it on this blog before, but Aspergers (now technically Autistic Spectrum) is something I deal with on a daily basis.  And because it is so little understood, and often stereotyped, not to mention intensely personal I don’t often talk about it.  A while I was mulling over some aspects of how I experience AS, the similarities to the official diagnoses as well as the ways it differs.  Out of those ramblings came an essay that I decided to share, in the hope that it would resonate with others.  And yesterday the article was published, on the fantastic collective Rebelle Society.  The link is included, I would love to hear any questions or comments.

Asperger’s From The Inside.

If you read it, thank you.  If it reminds you of someone you know, please pass it on.  We are never as alone as we think.
