“Nature never did betray the heart that loved her.” William Wordsworth.
Isn’t it strange how much we’re afraid to love? To love anything too much — a person, a place, an animal, activities — can be a great risk. Because then your heart doesn’t belong solely to you anymore. The more you love, that much more can you lose.
What if that’s not true? What if nothing is really lost? What if the world is big enough to hold everything that is, that ever was, and will ever be? What if loss is like autumn leaves — and our souls are the trees?
Hi!
I just recently began following your blog, but I have to say that this post is beautiful! I love it! 🙂
Thanks! This is all pretty new to me, lots to figure out 🙂 Thanks for reading!
It’s my pleasure! I think figuring it all out is half the fun, sometimes.
That is just beautiful!
