It has been longer than I thought since I wrote a post here, and a long, interesting journey through getting my bachelor’s at Naropa University. Now that this stage is complete, it feels empowering–and disconcerting. What am I supposed to do now? There are many question marks on that subject, but one thing is emerging. I chose to pursue my degree in Environmental Studies, because I wanted to make a real, tangible difference. Now I feel like I have the ingredients to start making that difference, with writing, photography, and enormous amounts of information acquired over four intensive semesters. I will be using all of these tools to create essays, articles, and stories on environmental topics, both to live here and to be published. Other exciting changes are in the works too, so stay tuned.
