Why We Should Rethink Holiday Decorations (link)

December 17, 2019 by jesslm Leave a Comment

Christmas has always been a favorite time of year. I really do enjoy the festive decorations, and letting things be a little more special all around. Nevertheless, the holiday season comes with a cost, especially in Western cultures, and that is garbage. On average, Americans throw out 25% more trash during the winter holidays. That really adds up! More importantly, the problem goes well beyond the landfill.

I just published this piece on holiday decorations, and waste in general, along with a few ways to reduce waste yet still enjoy the season. I hope you enjoy the article, and as always I welcome any feedback, questions or comments.

Happy Holidays.
