Expectations
Last of summer’s bounty,
Joyfully gathered in;
Harvest moon is full.
Now the fading gold
Of maple leaves whispering;
Harvest moon is waning,
An owl wings softly to rest.
One year’s promises fulfilled,
New hopes not yet spoken;
Free of what seemed important,
The world is kissed asleep with snow.
Beautiful Seasonal poem.
Thank you! 🙂
